pSeven Enterprise v2022.05 Release

DATADVANCE development team announces the release of pSeven Enterprise v2022.05, a new version of our low code cloud-native collaborative platform for building, deploying and operating different models and processes at scale. It brings a lot of improvements and updates. Take a look what's new below.

Updates and Changes

Beta version of Design space exploration block

Design space exploration block provides methods for design of experiments and optimization. You can solve a variety of design space exploration tasks using design of experiments and optimization methods. Once you describe design variables and responses in block configuration, the block suggests an effective solving method, so typically there is no need to manually configure method settings.

Simplifying update of the stock app UI in published AppsHub apps

To update the stock app UI in a workflow created in previous pSeven Enterprise versions or to revert UI changes in a workflow, you can use the new app UI reset command from the ≡ menu in Explorer.

Explorer pane enhancements

  • More convenient behaviour when navigating through folders. If you navigate between folders that are displayed in tree view (for example, run results), the pane now remembers the tree state in a few folders you have recently visited. If you input a path pointing to a file or folder in a tree, the pane expands the corresponding tree node upon navigating to that path.
  • The Explorer pane uses icon and background colors to indicate status of workflow runs.

Deployment and Administration

Notable acceleration of update installation with default settings

Fixed an issue with pSeven Enterprise version upgrade where the deployment of a new version could take several hours, depending on the amount of stored user data, because it always ran a filesystem check procedure, which is often not required.

Limitation on the number of open blocks and the number of running workflows

To prevent situation when some user opens too many blocks or starts too many workflow runs at the same time, which interferes with other users' work, you can now set limits for the number of open blocks and the number of workflow (or app) runs.

pSeven Enterprise v2022.05 also includes other changes and bugfixes — please check the release changelog for a full list. You can also contact us to get more information and pSeven Enterprise updates.
