DATADVANCE presented the first full-cloud design space exploration platform pSeven Cloud at the largest European Simulation Process and Data Management conference organized by NAFEMS in Munich. The conference hosted the worlds’ leading IT companies and manufactures from automotive and aerospace industries and commemorated 15 years of SPDM success in Munich which began with go-live of Virtual Insight at BMW.
During the working session Sergey Morozov, DATADVANCE CEO, outlined that nowadays a new generation of full-cloud design and simulation software tools is emerging. Among of the pioneers are OnShape, SimScale and Sim4Design. Although these tools offer great design and simulation capabilities one component – design space exploration – is missing. But this is an essential component for implementing simulation driven design methodology. pSeven Cloud is the first full-cloud design space exploration system. It is based on the industry proven efficient data analysis and optimization algorithms supplemented with SmartSelection™ metaheuristics allowing to select the most efficient algorithm for a given problem.
At the exhibition Nikita Perestoronin, DATADVANCE Senior Software Engineer, demonstrated a solution of a real-life industrial problem using pSeven Cloud together with a cloud CAD Onshape and a cloud CAE SimForDesign. Participants showed great interest in pSeven and recognized the benefit of design space exploration platform that enables to improve product performance, quality and reliability, formalize and preserve knowledge and experience through automation and improve collaboration between departments and engineers.
Access to the beta version of pSeven Cloud is available upon request.
NAFEMS is the International Association for the Engineering Modelling, Analysis and Simulation Community. It is the largest vendor-neutral, not-for-profit association with the focused mission to promote the effective professional use and benefits of engineering simulation. DATADVANCE is the member of NAFEMS since the year 2014.
