DATADVANCE at the international conference Startup Village
DATADVANCE took part in Startup Village 2015. Startup Village is a key initiative of the Skolkovo Foundation – a non-profit set up to create an ecosystem of innovation in Russia and integrate it into the global innovation process. Startup Village brings together startup communities from across Russia and neighboring countries. This year more than 10 000 people visited the event on the 2-3 of June, Including startup companies from Russia, CIS and other countries, more than 700 investors, venture funds, governmental organizations and others.
More than 120 panel discussions, roundtables, mentor sessions and workshops were held on 11 sites. Along with the leaders of world corporations, General Director of DATADVANCE Sergey Morozov participated in the panel session «Why do big corporations need startups». The main topics of the discussion were the strategies of the corporations in search for innovations, how do they organize priorities in search for new ideas and technologies outside the company, how one can present startup projects and technologies for big corporations. During the session Sergey Morozov shared the successful experience of DATADVANCE, that realized a project on implementation of the pSeven Core algorithmic in Airbus Group (former EADS) and became one of the first startup residents of the Information technologies cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation. Nowadays more than 1000 companies have become members of the Skolkovo Foundation.
DATADVANCE now develops and its own software platform for design space exploration - pSeven, that can integrate different CAD systems and provides own analysis tools. pSeven's data mining and optimization toolset, powered by the pSeven Core algorithmic core, allows to generate designs of experiments, train surrogate models, perform optimization, sensitivity and dependency analysis and uncertainty quantification.
